Thefifth-generation Honda CR-V will feature a continuing 2.4-liter direct-injection inline-four cylinder engine, carried over from the 2016 model. Prices for the 2017 Honda CR-V EX begin at $27,595, or around $600 more than the previous version. The 1.5-liter turbo-four engine from the Civic, boasting of 190 hp rated output, powers both the EX and the EX-L. The standard Honda Sensing Technology package, which includes features like Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow (ACC), Collision Mitigation Braking (CMBS) and Lane Keeping Assist (LKAS) will come standard, as is the case with the EX-L. Heated front seats, 18-inch aluminium alloy wheels, push-button start, ‘Apple CarPlay’ music system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and other standard upgrades will all come default, adding to the sense of conveyed luxury. The All-wheel drive EX costs $1,300 more than the standard 2017 Honda CR-V EX.
The Honda CR-V EX-L will receive other upgrades, with leather-trimmed seats and a leather trimmed steering wheel, as well as HD radio, SiriusXM satellite radio and modern cruise-control technology. Starting at $30,095, the all-wheel drive EX-L costs $31,395.
