
Rumour are that next month,Samsung was going to launchGalaxy C smartphone in China. Now we know that the company was indeed workingon a C series range of smartphones. So far there was only whispers but now, we have some specifications and a date set for launch in May.
The devices first appeared inGeekbench and according to reports Samsung’sC series smartphones will have metal bodies and will be available exclusively in China, at least initially. But we are hoping thatsince the devices are tested in India, the handsets may belaunched soon after.
SM-C5000 has already appeared beforeon a previous import listing and now the device isaccompanied by another model SM-C7000. But there is no details about the latter. Therange is of budget to mid-range smartphones. The listed price of these models will convert toRs 13,500( without duties and taxes).

As far as we know, SamsungSM-C5000 will featurean octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processorwith an Adreno 405 GPU. The device will run onAndroid 6.0.1 Marshmallow thatcome coupled with 4GB of RAM.
Lately theSamsung Galaxy C7 SM-C7000 was listed onAnTuTu benchmark. From this we’ve come to know of a couple of features like the device will feature aFull HD (19201080 pixels) display. It’ll run inAndroid 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system and powered by aquad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 64-bit processor that comes with Adreno 506 GPU. SM-C7000 will have 4 GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. As for the battery, we have no information on that.
