ZTE Blade A2 Plus: Chinese multinational telecommunications equipment and systems company ZTE have been consistently rolling out smartphones for a while now and the company’s mid-range feature rich devices have catered to quite a number of consumers in the market. Their new offering, the ZTE Blade A2 Plus, was launched earlier last Friday has been made available earlier at 12PM today for consumers exclusively on Flipkart. Available in Gold and Grey colour variants and priced at Rs 11,999, ZTE in collaboration with the popular e-commerce website are offering extra 5 per cent off on Axis Bank Buzz Credit Cards, along with Rs 1000 off on exchange value. Users have to register to be notified of the sale.

ZTE Blade A2 Plus Smartphone Specifications
Design and Display
The ZTE Blade A2 Plus features a metal unibody design, with a square-shaped camera, flash and fingerprint scanner, sitting one below the other vertically at the back. The new smartphone sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels resolution) LCD capacitive touch-screen display with 404 ppi and 2.5D curved glass on the top. The fingerprint scanner comes with a clickable button to enable additional functions like gestures to see photos, take screenshots, selfies and other things like navigating the gallery. Much to everyone’s relief the new devices from ZTE most definitely does retain the 3.5mm headphone jack and will sport the power button and volume rockers on the right-hand side panel.
The ZTE Blade A2 Plus measures at 155 x 76.2 x 9.8mm and weighs 189 grams.
Hardware and Software
The Blade A2 Plus from ZTE is expected to be powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6750T octa-core SoC (four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.5GHz and four at 1GHz) paired with 4GB of RAM and Mali T860 GPU. The onboard storage is at 32GB with the option to expand further via the microSD card (up to 128GB). The device runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Mi-Favor, which ZTE’s own custom UI, running on top.
Camera
On the optics front, the smartphone is expected to deliver quite a stellar tray of features according to the specifications spotted. The Blade A2 Plus is expected to come out with a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, dual-LED flash and 1080p video support. At the front, there is an 8-megapixel sensor with screen flash for selfie and video calling purposes.
Battery and Connectivity
One of the main highlights of this new offering from ZTE is its battery capacity. In a world where 4G connectivity and high-end applications are prevalent, this new smartphone is expected to pack in a mammoth 5,000 mAh battery which the company touts will have a talk time of up to 22 hours. Connectivity options on the device include Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, 4G LTE, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. Sensors in the device are Accelerometer, Proximity, Ambient Light, Compass, Hall sensor etc.
