Zest Sportz Edition by Tata Motors brings the dealer level accessory package available on the standard car priced at a premium of Rs. 20,000. The new edition version has been introduced as a part of the celebration of the second anniversary of Zest Sportz and 50,000 Zest sales in the country. The new strategy will add to the advertisement and will also merge up with other benefits comprising free insurance of Rs. 33,000, exchange bonus of Rs. 30,000 and other benefits up to Rs. 68,000. For both petrol and diesel engine options, the accessories will be available. The Zest was the first product from Tata Motors with largely positive reviews.

Tata Zest has a 1.2-litre four-cylinder turbocharged Revotron petrol engine that churns out 88bhp and 140Nm of torque. Similarly, diesel power comes with the 1.3-litre FIat-sourced Quadra jet that is available in two states of tune – 73bhp and 190 Nm, as well as 88bhp and 200Nm.

The accessory package of the Tata Zest Sportz Edition includes a body kit with red skirts, body graphics, additional chrome finishing, blacked-out roof, contrast red finished ORVMs, door visors, and moldings, bumper protectors, while the cabin gets new seat upholstery. It will be available on any variant of the car and can be fitted at the dealership. The alloy wheels are only available on the top variant among certain other features like projector headlamps, LED DRLs and Harman infotainment system. The 5-speed manual on both engines and the 88bhp diesel engine also gets the 5-speed AMT unit.

This Zest Sportz sedan had a business capacity of selling between 1500-2000 units over the past months but failed to make the same impact as its rivals the Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire, Hyundai Xcent, Honda Amaze. Volkswagen is the latest contender with the Ameo. The current Prices for the Tata Zest commence at Rs. 5.11 lakh.
