The report was updated from Israeli embassy located in Gurgaon, Haryana. The respective competition was organized under the partnership between Embassy of Israel and TIE Delhi-NCR, so as to select two Indian startups firms which will further get boosted up financially and ethically from other foreign capitalists. As many as 22 firms participated in the event from around the globe along with featuring highly influential entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, angel investors, multinational company aggregators, and so on. This year it will be conducted in September for 5 continuous days thus marking its 4th successful year of the special event. The two winners of the event, women-led startups named as XPLAT run by Komal Talwar and Advenio owned by Mausumi Acharya will join other startup founders belonging to 22 other countries for the main event “Start Tel Aviv 2016”. XPLAT is a platform for automated user-friendly patent tools, basically for search engine optimization. The company boasts of covering and outreaching 120 countries with its patents thus forming an extensive and exhaustive searches. It subsequently provides services such as Invalidator, Competetive Technology Analytics, Automated Patentability, Global Search, Alerts/Pair tracks, Noise Reduction, and much more. Advenio Technosys offers artificial intelligence, deep learning, and machine learnings based computer assisted detection for diagnostic clinical imaging. It primarily focuses towards computer-oriented diagnostics, with medical images used through a software. The event held in India included 5 finalists named as Payment Solutions, Technology Uncorked, EZspend Prepaid, Media Mojo and of course XPLAT and Advenio. The show or competition had an impressive jury panel which included Rajesh Razdan, Founder & CEO, mCarbon; Gita Dang, Talent Advisory Services from the local “Shark Tank”; Ankita Vashishth from Saha Fund (Women-Focussed Fund); Kalpana Jain, Partner, Deloitte Tohmatsu; and last but not the least, Gaurav Bhatnagar, Co-Founder, Travel Boutique Online.
