
Consumer electronics manufacturer Xiaomi have been scaling new heights since it entered the consumer market with its range of smartphones. Since then, the company has come a long way launching a large range of electronic appliances. And the Chinese company are all set to launch their new premium notebook into the market. The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 4G was launched in a joint effort with China Mobiles and the new product offers quite a rich-list of specifications making it a considerably affordable alternative compared to Apple’s Macbook air. Sporting a 170-degree wide survey point with a 5.71 mm ultra thin screen, the Mi Notebook air 4G is accompanied by preloaded Windows 10 home version and is available in two models: with the 12.5-inch display and the 13.3-inch display specifications respectively. Both models accompany telecom administrator network bolster without sim cards in addition to 4 GB of free 4G data for every month.
The 12.5-inch Mi Notebook Air 4G retains its full-HD display resolution, is powered by an Intel Core M3 processor coupled with 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM (1866MHz), and offers a 128GB SSD (SATA) that’s expandable via a second SSD slot. The laptop is 12.9mm thick at its most slender and tips the scales at 1.07kg. It also has a HDMI port, two USB 3.0 ports and a USB Type-C port. Other features of the MI Notebook Air include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, AKG dual speakers, and Dolby Digital surround sound support. Coming to the battery capacity of the device, Xiaomi claims that the battery of the Notebook air can last up to a period of 11.5 hours.
Xiaomi has introduced the specific line of premium laptops to provide an affordable to choice to a large section of consumers looking for a premium laptop. The 12.5-icnh variant of the Notebook Air 4G is priced at $677 while the larger 13.3-inch variant costs $1007.
