Xiaomi recently introduced the awaited Redmi Pro in China and it comes with some really worthy features. According to a source, the handset uses China-made OLED panels.
We had reported that the Oled display introduced in a smartphone was supplied by Samsung (because they hold 95 percent of the market share) but according to new reports Xiaomi actually ordered a Chinese display makers for producing the OLED panel. Two domestic companies called BOE and EverDisplay (Hui) shipped the Redmi Pro Oled displays to Xiaomi.
The handset features a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels at a PPI of 342 pixels per inch. It is powered by 2.1GHz MediaTek Helio X20 processor and runs on Android. It comes with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. As for camera, the handset 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel selfies camera.

Xiaomi Redmi Pro measures 151.50 x 76.20 x 8.15 and weighs 174.00 gm. Its a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Micro-SIM and is powered by a 4050mAh non-removable battery. The handset comes with include Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India).
The company has promised to bring the smartphone to India but it remainds to be seen if they’ll bring their flagship phone – Xiaomi Redmi Pro – to India. One more question that reamins to be answered is if the top end variants of this phone will come to India.
