Xiaomi is reportedly holding an event on July 27th at theBeijing National Convention Center. The company is likely to launch the Redmi Note 4 and the Mi Notebook on that day. And as expected, right ahead of its launch, some rumours and leaks have begun circulating. A retail box has revealed keyspecifications and features of the smartphone.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (Probable) Features:
Rumour is that Redmi Note 4 will come with ametal unibody design and will be available in grey, golds, and silver colour options. Although earlier, rumours have suggested that the device will have dual-camera, anything of the sort hasn’t been mentioned in the retail box.
There has been conflicting reports on the camera of the device. While some leaked photos shownew camera setup without a fingerprint sensor at the rear others, show asingle camera and fingerprint sensor on the back panel.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (Probable)Specifications:
The image of the leaked box further reveals, that the handset will sporta 5.5-inch full HD display similar to that of Redmi Note 3. Interestingly, it’ll run onMediaTek’s Helio X20 deca-core processor that’ll come coupled with3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory.
The box also seems to suggest that, the devicewill have a 13-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel frontsnapper. Nothing changed from the Note 3 so far. The handset comes withdual-SIM card slots and is backed bya 4,100mAh battery.
Speaking on the specification, it looks like the Redmi Note 4 will be an update on the Redmi Note 3. This is the only explanation as to why the phone looks quite similar to that of its predecessor. This has been done likelynot todisrupt the component supply chain too much to achieve economies of scale.
A couple of days back, Xiaomilaunched the all new Redmi 3S which is a variant of its popular Redmi 3, in China. It sports a 5-inch HD (7201280 pixels) IPS display and is powered by an all-new octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor clocked at 1.1GHz clubbed with Adreno 505 GPU. It runs MIUI 7 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop andcomes in two variants with 2GB of RAM with 16GB of inbuilt storage and 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. As for the camera, the handset comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with f2.0 aperture, PDAF (phase detection autofocus), 1080p video recording, HDR mode, and LED flash. The handset supports dual SIM (Micro + Nano) and comes with hybrid SIM slot. And5-megapixels front camera with 1080p video recording capability. A fantastic 4100mAh battery completes the package.
Xiaomi Mi Notebook:
Speaking on theMi Notebook, it Xiaomi’s the first-ever laptop and will reportedly be built out of aluminium. It’llcome with Intel Atom processor and will offer two screen sizes: 12.5 and 13.3-inch. Rumour is that the la[ptop will look somewhat likeApple’s MacBook. Of course, the device is not going to be as expensive as Macbook.According to the leaked image above, the laptop will come equipped with the latest Intel 6th-generation Core i7-6500 CPU with 8GB of RAM running on Windows 10. The notebooks will feature a new I/O port that’ll not only transfers data faster than USB 3.0 but will also charge devices faster delivering up to 100 watts of power.
