According to reports, Xiaomi MIUI 9 will be based on Android 7.0 Nougat. Xiaomi announces on its forums, that they officially obtained the Android N (Android Nougat) source code from Google, and also asked fans if they want multi-window support on MIUI 9 Based on Android Nougat.It’ll sport expanded emojis (1,500 different emoji with 72 new),Quick Settings controls, multi–locale support, multi-window, direct reply features to get notified without having to open any app, etc.

Better Launcher

TheMIUI 8 Launcher comes as quite a setback. It acts as a launcher and app drawer simultaneously so you can’t remove app icons, just place them in folders.
