Xiaomi is coming up with the successor of the Mi note, the Mi Note 2 soon and a new set of leaked images on the internet have confirmed the upcoming smartphone which is rumoured to be released very soon by the Smartphone manufacturer.
The Mi Note 2, which is expected to bring major upgrades to the phablet promises to be another bestseller for Xiaomi in the market. We have already come across leaked renders and front panel of the Mi Note 2 sporting Galaxy Note 7-like dual edge curved display.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Rumoured Specifications:
The Mi Note 2 is expected to feature an all-metal body, a 5.5-inch Oled screen, 6GB RAM, 128GB inbuilt storage offering, and a Snapdragon 821 chipset. There is the front and back glass display, a rectangular home button on the front with a fingerprint scanner embedded within, and a metal frame. The previous render images showed off the speaker grill at the bottom along with USB Type-C connectivity port for charging and data transfer.connectivity options such as dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE with VoLTE support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and GPS, the phablet could run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
The phone is said to come in two screen resolution variants: one with 1080p and another with 2K display.
The Mi Note 2 is expected to sport 16-megapixel dual rear cameras at the back. While one camera will click the photo, the other could be used as a depth sensor to add DSLR-like blur (Bokeh) effect to the photos.
Battery and additional fingerprint feature:
The Mi Note 2 could also come equipped with a 4,000mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0. Rumors also point to Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner that could read the fingerprint even with wet or greasy fingers.
How much will the device cost and When will it release?
The 64GB variant is expected to be priced at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 25,000) and the 128GB variant should be priced at CNY 2,799 (roughly Rs. 28,000). As of now, the launch dates of the phone have not been specified.
Post the launch of the phone, it will be available on online E-commerce platforms like Flipkart and Amazon.
