Xiaomi Mi Max Phablet New Images Ahead of Tuesday Launch

Ahead of Tuesday’s (10th May) launchXiaomi CEO Jun Lei has shared pictures of the new phabletXiaomi Mi Max via the Chinese social media site called Weibo. The pictures are very pretty but not much is revealed in the pictures except for the fact that the device have capacitive buttons just below the display.Featured in different backgrounds, thephablet may have colour variants ranging between Pink, Blue and Gold.

Before this, an official trailer was revealed last week by the CEO that revealed a slim built device. The device recently appeared on the website ofChinese telecommunications certification authority called Tenaa. There was complete listing of the images and specifications.

The Tenna listing indicate that the Mi Max will supporta 6.44-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display and will be powered bya hexa-core Snapdragon 650 processor. Mi Max will have two variants – one would have 2GB of RAM that comes coupled with 16GB inbuilt storage and 3GB of RAM which comes packed with 32GB internal storage. On the front of camera, Mi Max will have16-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The device supports connectivity options like4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and Glonass. A4000mAh battery completes the package.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 2 is supposed to be launched on the Tuesday event as well until last week, until Lei announced that the fitness band would be delayed by a month. But he also confirmed that they’ll showcase Mi Band 2 at the Tuesday event anyway. And we hope they’ll also announce when the band will be available for interested buyers.Besides these two, Xiaomi will also showcase the latest version ofMIUI ROM, called MIUI 8. And to recall, the company had recently revealed the changes that are going to appear in the new custom Android ROM.
