Xiaomi Mi 6 is launching on April 16, 2017. The latest information leaked about the phone further states that it will come with QualcommSnapdragon 835 SoC. Xiaomi Mi 6 will be the first Chinese handset to sport the said processor.
Previously it was speculated that Xiaomi Mi 6 would launch on Valentine’s Day. Not only the launch date it is also revealed that the processor of Xiaomi Mi 6 smartphone will not be underclocked like some other smartphones of the company. Other details whichare leaked include a 5.2- inch LCD display with 2.5 D glass and a ceramic variant.
The leaked information also states that the camera of Xiaomi Mi 6 will be like the newly launched Xperia XZ Premium smartphone. The Xperia XZ Premium has a 19-megapixel rear camera along with Sony’s new motion eye camera system which provides faster image scanningand data transfer.
According to the leaked information, Xiaomi Mi 6 is to be launched with 4GB RAM with 128GB of built-in storage option. It will also have a capability to record slow motion videos at 720p. Also, Xiaomi Mi 6 may run on Android Nougat with Xiaomi’s in-house user interface- MiUI Sources reveal that it also has a dual rear camera setup, but the details of the camera are not available as yet.
It is also said that Xiaomi Mi 6 will be available in three different variants. One with a 32GB internal memory and 4GB RAM. Anotherone with 64GB RAM and 4GB RAM. The high-end variant will come with a 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage along with a ceramic body.
The device is expected to come with a fast charging support with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4.0 technology. It is said the handset is expected to have 4000Mah battery and is likely to cost around CNY 2,499 that is roughly around Rs 25000 in Indian currency.
