WWE Survivor Series 2016 Preview
The tradition of WWE Survivor Series speaks of the fact that it involves tag team matches mostly. However, there have been occasions where we have witnessed one-on-one clash as well. This year it’s going to be the 30th edition of the Survivor Series. And it is for the first time since the 1997 edition of the event where the Montreal Screwjob happened, that the Survivor Series is going to be held at Toronto in Canada. This is also going to the first time that the event will carry on 4 hours which is the time stipulated for SummerSlam and WrestleMania. The WWE Survivor Series 2016 will begin on November 20, 2016.
This year’s Survivor Series is going to witness the comeback of the king of the ring Goldberg who will be seen to be fighting it out inside the ring against Brock Lesnar. It will Goldberg’s first professional match in almost over 12 years. His previous tie against Brock Lesnar was touted to become one of the biggest clashes of all time, but in the end, it panned out to be a very subdued one.
The other five matches are going to be inter-promotional matches, in one of which the tag teams from RAW will fight it out against tag teams from Smackdown. The other two matches will the men from RAW locking horns with men from Smackdown whereas a third match will their women counterpart fighting it out inside the ring. One of the remaining two matches is going to be Cruiserweight Championship match between Brian Kendrick, and Kalisto will be up against each other. If Kalisto manages to win in this match, the title and the cruiserweight division will transfer to Smackdown. In the last match between The Miz (c) (with Maryse) and Sami Zayn, which is going to be the WWE Intercontinental Championship match, if Zayn manages to get the better of his opponent the title will transfer to Raw.
WWE Survivor Series 2016 Result Prediction
In the WWE Survivor Series 2016, the biggest encounter is going to be the Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg match. In the Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg match, we predict a win for the latter, although odds seem to be going against him. Goldberg will be making a comeback after a long gap, yet it seems that he might just come out on top at the end of the encounter. In the Brian Kendrick- Kalisto encounter, we expect Kalisto to win, although this is going to be extremely tough for Kalisto and he is expected to give more than his hundred percent because if he wins the encounter, the title will transfer to Smackdown. In the Zayn vs The Miz encounter, which is the WWE Intercontinental Championship match, we expect Zayn to clinch the tie for it will transfer the title to Raw. With all these encounters waiting to be staged, it is really going to be interesting in the WWE Survivor Series 2016.
