WWE Raw Live Rumour and Match Card: December 19, 2016

In the last week, we had a great episode in the WWE Raw where we got to see the New Day retaining the tag team title and rewrite history by breaking the record of the Demolition. The week began in such a great way for the New Day but yesterday in the WWE Roadblock they suffered a fall from grace as they lost the title to Cesaro and Sheamus. So in the upcoming episode of the WWE Raw, it is expected that there will definitely be a period of time that will be dedicated to Cesaro and Sheamus to provide them with a proper follow up to what happened in the WWE Roadblock show.

One of the most important aspects of this edition of the WWE Monday Night Raw is definitely going to be the development of the plot as far as Charlotte is concerned. One might get the feeling that the Charlotte-Sasha Banks feud is getting extended too much and the WWE rumours suggest that this week we might be up for something new as we await a potential opposition for Charlotte in the upcoming days. And all this development has been made possible after Charlotte had taken back the title from Sasha Banks in the iron cage match on Sunday. So it remains to be seen who is the potential contender for Charlotte, it could be Bayley. Or it could be someone else. All the eyes will be glued to the WWE Raw show tonight to find that out.

With the WWE Royal Rumble 2017 nearing, things need to take a proper shape. And that requires providing a proper sort out to what is brewing among four players – Chris Jericho, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. WWE news has reported that Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens have had a fallout among themselves, but after what happened in the Sunday night show things are bound to get complicated. Chris Jericho did deliver a code breaker on Kevin Owens but that in turn enable Owens to keep his title intact which suggests that their friendship is far from over. On the other hand, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns did take on Kevin Owens later on, but that did very little in order to clear out the current situation. Seth Rollins also expressed his desire to take on Triple H after the completion of the WWE Roadblock, so it remains to be seen what’s going to happen on tonight’s episode of the WWE Raw.

Other than these, it remains to be seen who the prime attraction in the Cruiserweight section becomes. With Rich Swann turning out to be an outright winner on Sunday’s night show of the WWE Roadblock event, it is a big question that poses a real worry for the red event of WWE that who is going to challenge Swann here. It could be Neville, and it could be Jack Gallagher as well. If it is Gallagher, the show is bound to gain the much-required momentum in this section as he has been a fan favourite for quite some time now.

Sami Zayn
Sami Zayn could be on the stage for a follow-up show of the WWE Roadblock

Sami Zayn put up a stellar show to last for more than minutes in the WWE Roadblock event against Bryan Strowman. Strowman was never happy with the proceedings in that encounter inside the ring. So is every chance that we might see a follow-up event on the WWE Monday Night Raw. also this encounter could well turn out to be a potential line-up for the WWE Royal Rumble which is scheduled to be held on January 17, 2017. Also, there are possibilities that we might see a follow of what happened between Big Cass and Rusev. Fans will be eager to keep an eye on that development as well. So there could well be a major showtime dedicated to that event as well.
