According to the latest news Bharatiya Janata Party leader Mahesh Sharma is known to be giving more importance to the whole Ram Mandir issue. The impending question as to whether there would be a project of rebuilding the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya did raise a lot of question, but the apparent interest ofUnion Minister Mahesh Sharma’s recent visit to the Ramayana museum before the UP elections seems as if it is an effort of gaining more votes. When the opposition parties point out that this stunt is only for gaining political benefits, Mahesh Sharma states that this visit has nothing to do with theRam Mandir Issue or theUP Elections.
There was a public demand for the construction of the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, which is known to be the Lord Rama’s birthplace. This religious demand was even accepted by the BJP leaders like Uma Bharti and Vinay Katiyar who have stated recently that “Ayodhya belongs to Ram”, but no actions were taken as of yet. With theUP Elections around the corner, BJP’s sudden interest in theRam Mandir Issue seems like BJP is trying to get hold over its Hindu vote base. Not only BJP, even the Samajwadi Party made an effort to win votes with the announcement that they are planning to open a Ramleela Theme Park in Ayodhya. Thus, it seems like the competing parties are concentrating on the Ram Mandir issue just before the UP elections.
Apparently, this is a very natural move made when there is an election in the state. Even though BJPleader Mahesh Sharma denies such accusation of trying to focus on the Ram Mandir issue before the UP elections, there is no guarantee or news that such issue would be taken care of before or after the election. Therefore, as the opposition parties try theirbest to throw dirt upon each other, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has chosen to stay away from the entire scenario. we only hope that the deserving party wins the UP election and makes it a point to bring the necessary changes for the benefit of the common people.
