As tradition calls, Apple has stayed numb regarding all iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 rumours. It was pretty obvious that the former is coming out this year and the latter, in the next. And by the looks of it, all lot of people think you should simply skip the iPhone 7 and get your hands on the iPhone 8.

The only drawback being you’ll have to wait for a whole year or more to get you hands on iPhone 8. Why why? And why wait for iPhone 8. According to speculation, the phone coming out in 2017 will sport an all-glass design for its chassis and will be a sturdy looking handset. It’s going to look a bit different to how smartphones look in the market right now. And to recall, most Apple iPhones sport a minimal look with aluminium and metal finish. But to be honest, they look pretty similar and can be differentiated only by the differences in size.

A few days back Forbes learned that the iPhone 8 would sport a curved glass edge on the rear and side of the device. That’s not too surprising since curve glass in a trend for the smartphone industry. And the news is that by looks it’s going to look very similar to Samsung S7 Edge and Galaxy Note 7 Edge. Even Asus comes with 2.5D Gorilla Glass display on their new Zenfone 3 line.

Speaking of other specifications, the iPhone 8 will sport a new OLED display screen from Samsung, something that you find in the iPhone releasing this year. And the 2017 handset will also have a Super AMOLED display screen. Reportedly it’s also going to have an ultrasound fingerprint sensor, which is speculated to be faster and much more secure that the current version. As far as we know, Apple has filed for a patent which means the feature is probably going to appear in the next year device.
