
Westworld Spoiler: Westworld’s last episode was perhaps the most shocking episode yet. It left fans reeling with questions and eager for Westworld episode 8. As many fans had already guessed Bernard Lowe (Jeffrey Wright), the head of the park’s Programming Division, was a host and in the last scene, he killed off his colleague and former lover, Theresa Cullen (Sidse Babett Knudsen), on Dr. Robert Ford’s (Anthony Hopkins) instructions.
About the shows, big reveal, show creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy told The Hollywood Reporter: “That was always the intention with his character. We knew that Ford… as you come to know Anthony Hopkins’ character in the show, you start to realize the depth of his misanthropy,” said Nolan.
Westworld Episode 8 Synopsis
In episode 8, titled “Trace Decay,” synopsis, which was shared by Comic Book: Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) struggles with a mandate; Maeve (Thandie Newton) looks to change her script; Teddy (James Marsden) is jarred by dark memories.
In the interview with Hollywood Reporter Joy reveals that Bernard act in the previous episode affect his storyline moving forward. “Bernard, as he self-identifies as a human, is a gentle and contemplative and loving soul. That kind of act of violence, especially against someone he cares about as he cares about Theresa, would be anathema to his character.”
By the looks of it, the next few episode are going to be heavy on the heart. Back in October, speaking on the finale, Rachel Evan Wood who plays Dolores said: “It will only continue to get more and more intense and more relentless.” Without revealing any Westworld spoiler, she further went on to say: “I can tell you that the surprises will floor you. Certainly prepare for [Episodes] 9 and 10 to have your heart broken and your mind blown. And that’s really all I can say. I’m just over the moon about it.”
