Volkswagen, the German automaker is releasing its latest model Polo GTi in the upcoming festive season. The GTi badge has been associated with Volkswagen Polo for a long time and finally the car will be making its way in India. Polo GTi is a souped up 3-door version of the Volkswagen Polo and is the first performance-oriented model in India. Polo is already available with GT TSI, and GT TDI options are going to be the first 3-door performance hatchback in the country.

We are confident that the world renowned, highly acclaimed features of the carline will strongly appeal to Polo GT loyalists and driving enthusiasts in India as well.”
Volkswagen Polo GTI car is debuted at 2016 Delhi Auto Expo comes up with a 1.8-litre turbocharged petrol engine from the Octavia churning out at least 180bhp of power. DSG automatic gearbox and a manual transmission option will also be offered. Just under seven seconds, the Polo GTi hits the tonne from thestandstill. The headlamps of Volkswagen Polo will come with a possibility of DRLs being integrated, which is same as the older version along with the grille and the front bumper, which will be new. The interior of the car is interesting too with some unique features, like height adjustable driver seat, electrically adjustable and folding mirrors, cruise control, 2-DIN music system has USB with AUX and Bluetooth compatibility. The flat bottom steering wheel adds the sporty look with steering mounted audio controls. The interior is entirely black.
