V Narayanasamy

V Narayanasamy is going to be the next Chief Minister of Puducherry. Today is the oath taking ceremony of the same. The most important thing about the new Chief Minister is that this man is least wanted Chief Minister of the state. Apart from V. Narayanasamy, five other leaders of Congress will be sworn ministers of the state.

The Lt. Governor Kiran Bedi will administer the oath-taking ceremony of the office and secrecy to the six-member team of ministers at the swearing-in ceremony to be held at the historic Gandhi Tidal on Beach Road at noon.

The Chief Minister had earlier served the same position in the state during the era of the UPA government after serving as the MoS Parliamentary Affairs in UPA-I.

The interesting fact is that for years he has wanted to secure this post but was almost overlooked by everyone every time. “Through the years, he has made some political enemies because of his extreme loyalty to the party, but it is the same loyalty that has ensured that he held important posts in the UPA governments, and made him CM now,” said a senior leader of Congress.
