
There is a good news for all the candidates who appeared for the UPSC IAS Mains 2016. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared that the results of the Civil Services Main examination will soon be on their official website. It is the central agency of India who is authorized to conduct the Civil Services Examination, Engineering Services Examination, Combined Medical Services Examination, National Defence Academy Examination, Combined Defence Services Examination, Naval Academy Examination and other important government exams. Every year a great number of candidates appear for the exam. Like previous years, thousands of candidates appeared in the exams which were conducted from December 3 to December 9 in two sessions.
Last year, the UPSC IAS Mains results were declared on February 20, 2016. For this year the candidates are advised to stay in touch with the official website. It wasearlier reported by some news portals that the results would be released by Mid-January, January 25 to be exact. But now we know that was a false news and as per the latest reports though authority has declared that they will soon release the result for UPSC IAS Mains 2016, but the official date is not announced yet.
UPSC IAS Mains 2016 Results: How to Check it
The candidates must know the result will be released online and the will be some simple steps that will make it easier for them to know the UPSC IAS Mains 2016 Result. The steps are:
- First log on to the official website, www.upsc.gov.in
- Then click on relevant link
- Now you need to enter the required details
- After that click on submit
- The results will appear on the screen
- Download the result and please take printout of the same for future reference
At the time of the exam there was confusion over the framing of the proposition in English and Hindi.The test paper had carried an essay of 125 marks, but the framing of the proposition in English and Hindi created a big confusion among the candidates. Though, later Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) cleared that the board will accept different versions of the answers for the essay paper of the Civil Services (Main) Examinations, 2016.
