Now the spy shots of the upcoming mid-size, premium-brand ute, expected to be badged the GLT has again created a storm in the automobile industry. Mercedes-Benz is co-developing this new venture of the pickup truck with Nissan in to cut down development costs. This collaboration will help in taking the maximum benefit when comes to engineering thoroughness. That is why these test ‘mule’ pickups look quite similar to the Nissan Navara truck.

However, there are several acute signs to prove that this hybrid bears no evidence of a typical Nissan. Mercedes-Benz GLT Pick-up Truck Engine
Mercedes will call its pickup ‘the GLT’ and give it styling cues from the GL-Class SUV. Four and six-cylinder engines running gasoline and diesel six-speed manual and seven-speed automatic are the two expected transmission choices. According to the news Mercedes’ 4MATIC AWD will also be an option.

Mercedes have confirmed that its pickup will be sold in Europe, Australia, South Africa, and Latin America, but at the same time the truck’s arrival in the U.S. is still unknown. The suggested prices of Mercedes-Benz GLT Pick-up truck will start from circa $30,000 (21,000) in the GLT’s cheapest markets. the expected Mercedes Pick-up truck to officially debut its newest venture sometime in 2017 with its arrival schedule for 2018 or 2019.
