UP Elections 2017: Dimple Yadav & Priyanka Gandhi To Contest Polls Together

In the midst of hue and cry regarding the Party symbol between Father-Son duo of State ruling party, it has aimed to put up strategized campaign thus confirming that Congress and SP will contest the UP Elections 2017 hand-in-hand. Keeping in front the first posters of campaigning, UP CM Akhilesh Yadav’s better-half Dimple Yadav, as well as Congress Supremo Sonia Gandhi’s daughter Priyanka Gandhi, were seen together in a single poster put up on streets of Allahabad ahead of the Assembly Polls.

It’s just a day after when National General Secretary along with two others has resigned from the party so as to join BJP for the UP Elections 2017. However, eliminations did not seem to bother Akhilesh as he was gearing up at a great pace by opening up various campaigns in the betterment of the public. The initiative taken to establish the ruling party all over again would help them achieve their goal by such alliance as the other contesting party BJP has started emerging as a strong contender along with Former CM Mayawati’s party Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP).

Dimple Yadav happens to be constituent from Kannauj, UP wherein Priyanka comes as an independent campaigner. The posters were put up by District Congress Committee general secretary Haseeb Ahmad who is also known for displaying political posters on the streets of Allahabad district in Uttar Pradesh. The sole aim to form an alliance was to give tough competition to BJP as well as BSP as their motive are same.

In an exclusive interview given to ABPLive, committee general secretary stated as “If our goals are same then why to take a different path; even if our communal forces come as a hurdle, the journey would continue so as to conquer the upcoming assembly polls.”

The respective poster has not the only image of Priyanka Gandhi and Dimple Yadav but Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, Pramod Tiwari and Haseeb Ahmad. With mere a month left for the UP Elections 2017, the campaigning for the polls have taken a good pace with all the contesting parties in Uttar Pradesh has firmly geared up to take over the Chief Minister title.
