As the nation look forward to the nation’s one of the massive’s polls ahead in 2017, the rumours of collaborations of country’s biggest parties has been put on hold. Indian National Congress Uttar Pradesh Committee President Raj Babbar has clearly denied of any alliance formation as the party is now all ready to contest alone in the UP Election 2017. With the confirmed news gearing up, Congress won’t tie up Samajwadi Party, as UP CM Akhilesh Yadav made an announcement regarding the massive alliance.
In an exclusive interview to PTI, Raj Babbar opinionated the alliance as ‘hypothetical’ thus further stating that “Alliance talks in some way demoralises workers. I have no such information. The party leadership has not asked me to look for a tie up, and it’s not under consideration.” The statement was given in Lucknow yesterday on December 4. The issue of the merger was not at considerable for the party as Babbar stated that Congress was capable enough to contest the UP Elections 2017 alone.
He even notified that Congress had the ability to win all 300 seats if the polls are carried safely and on the basis of truth and justice. Hushing down the triggering speculation of the pre-poll merger, Babbar reinstated the fact that SP and Congress tie-up was out of the question even if they are on the verge of losing.
On the other hand, Samajwadi Chief Mulayam Singh earlier clarified that alliance between SP and Congress ahead of UP Elections 2017 was not appropriate as the only merger would help them conquer the polls all over again. When a similar question was asked to UP CM, then he reverted as the final decision ultimately depended on the Chief of the Party.
However, the candidate selection is on which will soon be released in next month or two. The prospective list of district president for the selection procedure is ongoing. Various campaigns are being carried forward so that public connect with Congress more appropriately as the miffed public are looking for anew option for voting in UP Elections 2017.
Criticising the recently attempted demonetisation move, Babbar stated that public has become outrageousas they can not anymore handle the cashless probe. People belonging to Tier-II/III cities are not yet technologically sound so to them accepting the debit/credit card based trade along with using mobile for the basic transaction would definitely be difficult task to adhere. So, people voting for Congress will be more in numbers as compared to other parties.
He further threw some light over the Yadav family feud as being the first family of Uttar Pradesh; it is disgraceful to attack each other publically. This whole episode of stiffness within themselves would affect during the UP Elections 2017.
At present, Congress is trying its best to put a full stop over the name of Sheila Dixit so as to attract the vote bank of Brahmins in UP, followed by an exit of senior Congress leader Ritu Bahuguna Joshi in October, this year.
