Amidst collaborating with Congress Party, Samajwadi Party is going ahead with all the strategic moves to attract the voters from all over the State. Present CM Akhilesh Yadav has started with an on call vote process where people can make a call to the Chief Minster and cast his vote. Specifically initiated for tier II and III cities and village-towns, the public can dial the stated number and speak out the name, Akhilesh Yadav thus giving him vote in the upcoming UP Elections 2017.

Carried out in a small area in Lucknow, a three-storey building has almost 70 people where each of them is making a similar petty kind of introduction so as to promote and encourage voters to cast their vote but obviously not disclosing the fact that they are campaigning specifically for Akhilesh Yadav. The instructions have been strictly given to all the workers that any kind of information ought not to be leaked outside this building.

Similar to somewhat like a busy call centre in Lucknow suburbs with sole intention to hunt the assembly polls. Representing itself as Debunk Media house, employees working in ittries to make a survey in small towns and villages subsequently holding a conversation with people so that they are assured that which area of the State is in favour of the party or not. Also, they are targeting few communities and caste, so that they may cast their vote in the upcoming UP Elections 2017.

On the other hand, those who are not getting convinced by the ‘approach’ and addressing grievances are being resolved in every plausible way so that the preference may change andcomes in favour of what’s needed at that particular moment. Work carried out by almost 700 men for solving issues and grievances, the entire process has been inspired by Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Governance.

The concept of attracting voters through phone calls and promoting on call votes is an age old process but used for second or third time. As the time gap shortens for UP Elections 2017, seeking vote for their favoured candidate in such manner can be a new way for lobbying as well as political strategies.
