Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil

Sanjay Gupta’s upcoming thriller Kaabil’s release date has been unveiled and the movie starring Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam will reportedly clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees which is also set to release on Republic Day ( 26th January) next year.

Sanjay Gupta announced the film officially in January 2016 with Hrithik Roshan portraying the lead role, Rakesh Roshan producing the project and Rajesh Roshan composing the film score. The principal photography commenced in Mumbai in March 2016. The entire shooting is scheduled to be completed till July 2016.

Kaabil’s release date has been a topic of concern for both SRK and Hrithik and the former had reportedly been in meetings with producer Rakesh Roshan about the release dates but no significant change in the decision has been made as of yet, with Senior Roshan sticking to his decision of releasing the movie on Republic day itself.

This news resulted in a twitter battle between the fans of the two biggest actors of Bollywood.
SRK’s fans started flooding the micro-blogging site with tweets suggesting that “Raees” will wash away Hrithik’s film.On the other side, Hrithik’s admirers fired back saying that “Kaabil” will shine at the box office and out-throw the SRK starrer.

And many more..

Hrithik Roshan, who is coming off his recent venture Mohenjo Daro, which failed to make a big impact on the box-office, will have Yami Gautam for company in the upcoming 2017 thriller which also marks Sanjay Gupta’s first collaboration with the Roshans.

Kaabil’s first Look:

As of today, no trailer of the movie has been as of yet but a poster with the first look of the movie was released.First look poster is also featuring movie name on it “Kaabil” with ‘I’ in red colorfeaturingHrithik Roshan‘s eyes, he is staringat candle. With the poster also having a tagline which says the ” The mind sees all” one can make a speculation that the upcoming Sanjay Gupta venture might most probably be a psychological thriller, a genre Bollywood lacks good movies in.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees which is also slated to share Kaabil’s release date is a Rahul Dholakia directed action-thriller film set in Gujarat during the 1980’s. It follows the story of bootlegger Raees Khan whose high-flouring business is eventually thwarted by a police officer played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
