
Director Michael Bay stayed true to his promise to bring out the best in the war between humans and machines inTransformers: TheLast Knight. Paramount Pictures has released thesynopsis of Transformers 5 directed by Michael Bay which reads that Optimus Prime is “gone” and “Heroes will become villains.”
The tagline that “heroes will become villains” made the fans eagerly waiting for the releaseof the film. Fans are curious to find out about the leader of the Autobots who is portrayed as a villain in the trailer. Thus in The Last Knight, the core myth of the Transformers Franchise is shattered, and it tries to reaffirm the concept of a hero. The synopsis led a worldwide speculation among the fans that who will save the world.
The synopsis states that “Humans and Transformers are at war. Optimus Prime is gone.” It not only intrigued but also disappointed some of the fans while others are curious about the movie. The trailer and the synopsis hints that there is going to be a war fought between the Earth and the Cyberton,a great war between man and machine. The film is set to explore the mythology of the Transformers Universe and in the fifth film The Last Knight Optimus Prime, who was earlier seen drifting lifelessly in space would transform himself as the antagonist and will try to kill Bumblebee. Fans assumed Optimus to be dead, but it seems he is to return in the fifth film.
The trailer begins with a voiceover from Anthony Hopkins which narrates the essentiality of sacrifice in order to achieve victory. The significantscene of a sword dripping blood is seen which fans are counting as highly symbolic. Optimus Prime is going to help Cade Yeager in Transformers 5 in Man vs. Machine war but is trying to kill Bumblebee.The engineer from the Age of Extinction, Izabella and Josh Damuelwill fight the war against the Autobots.
Fans are eagerly waiting for Transformers: The Last Knight that hits thetheaterson 23rd June 2017.
