Toyota’s Ambitious Lexus RX 450h Launched: Japanese Major’s Big Plans For Domestic Market Revealed

Toyota’s serious attempt to grab the market of India is definitely more prominent after the launch of the new and most advanced Lexus RX 450h. This is the brand’s mid-size luxury SUV that is offered in two variants – RX Luxury and RX F-Sport. The car is on sale from today. The cars will be brought to India via CBU (Completely Built-Up Unit) route from Japan. The RX 450h Luxury is an already established model, while RX F-Sport is a new one. It is true that RX is the brand’s most successful hybrid SUV to date and is on a target to set a benchmark for other luxury carmakers like Audi, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW. It is a five-seater SUV with a big size trunk. Let’s take a look at its specifications and other details. Lexus is planning to set up four dealerships across the country – Bengaluru, Mumbai and two in Delhi.

It has got wraparound LED taillamps that are connected with a chrome strip and a roof-mounted spoiler; integrated brake lights complete an extremely complex yet intricate design. Other key features of the car include a Bluetooth-enabled audio system with 9-speakers, 8-inch touchscreen display with an integrated rear camera monitor, an electronic park brake, and a very advantageous 10-way power adjustable front seats.

The RX 450h Luxury sedan is priced at Rs 1.07 crore while the F-Sport trim is priced at 1.09 crore (ex-showroom Delhi). The new car demonstrates Toyota’s dreams for the Indian market.
