Tokyo Ghoul Season 3: While fans are still waiting for any developments regarding the Tokyo Ghoul Season 3, new rumours have emerged. Following the end of Season 2, fans of the thriller anime series are worried if the story will be continued. They have been wondering that if the third season will pick up right after the events of Season 2. Many believe that next season the show can head towards a different direction.
Tokyo Ghoul Season 3 Release Date:
iTech Post reported a couple of days back, that the initial rumours about the winter or late 2016 premiere of Season 3 are untrue. At present Season 3 has no tentative premiere date.
Tokyo Ghoul Season 3 Story:
Last season, the series were not faithful to the original contents of the manga. But, to the relief of fans, Hall of Fame Magazine reported that the new season may tackle Chapters 88 and 89 of the original manga. To recall, the season 2 ended with the protagonist Kaneki having an intense battle with Kishou Arima. By the end, Kaneki was badly injured and even lost his sanity. Some believe that the death match between Ken and Arima would not go well and it’ll lead to the demise of one of the characters.
As of now, there is no official announcement regarding the production of the next season. The Season 1, 12-episode was adapted by Pierrot aired on Tokyo MX between July 4 and September 19, 2014. Funimation has licensed the anime series for streaming and home video distribution in North America.
A live-action film based on the manga was announced in June 2016 and will hit theatres in the summer of 2017. The cast includes Masataka Kubota for the role of protagonist Ken Kaneki and Fumika Shimizu for the role of Touka Kirishima, Yū Aoi was cast as Rize Kamishiro, Nobuyuki Suzuki plays Kotaro Amon and Yo Oizumi is set to play Kureo Mado.
