The Walking Dead Season 8: American horror drama television series The Walking Dead has been perhaps one of the most watched shows in the past couple of years, and the series has reportedly been renewed for an eighth season which is scheduled to run from late 2017. Developed by Frank Darabontand based on the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard, The Walking Dead revolves around thesheriff’s deputy Rick Grimes,who awakens from a coma discovering a world overrun by zombies, commonly referred to as “walkers.” Andrew Lincoln, who plays the title character of Grimes and the main protagonist of the series, will be seen resuming his role as the Zombie fighter desperate to protect his surroundings from the terror instilled by the ‘Walkers.’

The Walking Dead Season 8 has been Confirmed as of October 2017 and will return with a further 16 episodes.

A huge number of speculations are rife about what The Walking Dead Season 8 might bring in store for its viewers. Digital Spy reported of a possibility that the first episode of the upcoming series might very well be a prequel episode delving into the further depths in the life of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan)adapted from the comic mini-series Here’s Negan. There have also been reports about the cast of Season 8 with further reports suggestingthe likely exit of Sonequa Martin-Green’s character Sasha Williams although neither the actress nor the showrunner provided any confirmation of the same. The upcoming episode is also expected to feature the deaths of quite a few characters like Sasha, Carol, and Daryl.

The Walking Dead Season 8 will arrive for a further 16 episode haul in the fall of 2017.
