The Man in the High Castle is returning for a third season but doesn’t have a release date confirmed. This dystopian alternative history television is Amazon’s “most-watched since the original series development program began.” The show received a set-back mid-way during the production of The Man in the High Castle season 2 after executive producer Frank Spotnitzsuddenly left the show midway in season 2. When Spotnitz suddenly dropped off, the production continued without any producer. At the timethe show functioned like “a republic,” as executive producer David Zucker put it. The show’s new executive producer is Eric Overmyer (known for shows like Bosch, The Affair), and hopefully, he’ll not just fill inSpotnitz’sshoe but also step up the game.

The Man in the High Castle Season 3 Release Date
Like we said before and also judging by what Lewis had to say, season 3 is definitely coming out sometime in 2017. We are guessing a date around the end of the year, sayDecember, would be convenient for season 3 to premiere.
The second season of the Emmy award-winning series was made available on December 16th, 2016 when basically witnessed the opening up of a whole new Pandora’s box. With the next season we hope, the show will be exploring the 1960s era not just in America and Germany but other places around the world too.

Bella Heathcote who plays Joe Blake’s love interest in the second season was asked what she hopes for the upcoming season. She said: “I’d want my character to find a way to be a feminist under the regime, try and change the regime from within. That would be a great way to go.” Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa who plays Trade Minister Tagomi tells the way forward for season 3 will be to “Tell the truth, be responsible, it’s okay… if we put the best of what the East is and best of what the West is, we’re unstoppable.”
