But what is surprising is the old man is related to Princess Zelda by blood. But in ‘A Link to the Past’ Princess Zelda is already introduced as a descendant of Sages. And if the theory is right then the old man is both a king and a Sage.

However, it looked like there was confirmation of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s release date, slated for 2017, as revealed at Nintendo’s Treehouse live presentation of the game over at the 2016 Electronic Entertainment Expo. But as of now, the release date of ‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’ has settled down to March 4, 2017.
Update: The recent rumours on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is not looking promising at all as the game may not come with the Nintendo Switch gaming console in March 2017. The recent report suggests that the makers need more time to develop the game, maybe until the end of 2016, and it is not at all a good news for the Nintendo fans.
