The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: The nineteenth main instalment in the acclaimed Zelda series is still in the making, but that has not managed to stall all the excitement surrounding it. Developers Nintendo has shared quite a few looks at the upcoming game through gameplay trailers and some sporadic news, and the rest has been taken care of by leaks, which may or may not be proven true when the game ultimately comes out. But the latest bit of information comes from the stable of the creators themselves in the form of a new screenshot. And they have introduced an all new enemy for our protagonist to fight.

This new The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild screenshot shows off a new Enemy.
The Legend

The image was shared via The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild official Facebook page and shows off Link engaged in a battle with a strange looking new creature. In the course of the long standing series, we have seen Link face off against a lot of enemies ranging from weird to downright scary. But the adversary we saw today was not a kind we are familiar with. It doesn’t look very big, so Link shouldn’t have too much trouble defeating it. Or at least that’s what we hope. Coming to the new enemy itself, it looks like a robot with one arm holding a lightsaber-type weapon. It is not clear if the other arm has been severed by Link in battle, or if that’s what it looks like to begin with. It also looks like the fight is taking place inside a shrine, so the enemy could well be linked to the Guardians that we have seen before. It is also unclear if the place is one we have seen earlier or a completely new setting.

The team of The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of the Wild recently revealed a brand new trailer at The Game Awards this year. Like the earlier ones we have seen, it showed off the lush landscapes that we will explore while fighting some intriguing looking demons. The game does not yet have a release date set, but it is possible that we will see it launch around the same time the Nintendo Switch launches. So here’s looking at March 2017.
