Things are heating up in The Amazing Race Canada, and although we can’t wait to see participant giving everything they’ve got, the latest episode has been postponed. Instead of airing tonight as scheduled, The Amazing Race Canada Season 4 Episode 9 will air on August 23.
Titled I Just Wanna Win, the race is set in Cuba where the remaining team will try to make it to the semi-finals. For the first time, The Amazon Race Canada will be traveling in Cuba and explore the history and culture of the nation, i.e. if they have the time. The teams will have to face challenges and difficult tasks to finish their race.
To recall, in the last episode, titled I Could Be Prime Minister, Steph & Kristen were leading the race. With Julie and Lowell falling behind significantly, in the end, only five teams remain to compete for each other in the next episode. Those who intend to lead the pack needs to pull themselves up and finish their tasks properly in the upcoming episode.
The preview of the episode showed that the team was faced with unexpected tasks in Cuba, which will test their limits. The team that leads at the end of the last episode will surely have a significant chance at winning the race this season.
When the race ends, the grand price includes a CA$250,000 cash payout, the winning team’s choice of any Chevrolet vehicle driven during the race and a “once-in-a-lifetime” trip for two around the world with hotel accommodations provided by new sponsor Hotels.com. Commissioned by CTV, The Amazing Race Canada is produced by Insight Productions in association with Bell Media and with the support of Profiles Television. In the first season, the first team to cross the finish line won $500,000 in cash and prizes which were the largest prize is the largest grand prize ever awarded for a Canadian competition series. The fourth Season premiered on June 28, 2016.
