‘The 100’ Season 4 Release Date

The 100 Season 4: At the Comic-Con The 100 is known for announcing the revival of characters. They did it last year with Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey) and this year, showrunner Jason Rothenberg announced the return of the King of Ice Nation, Roan (Zach McGowan), as series regular.

Luna is ‘Getting Bloody’ in The 100 Season 4

Update: Luna is back of this season, because, like it or not, the world is coming to an end. Nadia Hilker had been shooting for the fourth season. “Luna so much stronger than Lexa, and they need to prove that,” Hilker told Blastr during filming for episode 9. “Luna is kicking ass, things are getting bloody.” This is something that fans have to watch for.

Speaking of allies, “Nadia says Luna is closest to Murphy but she is reluctant is trust him or any of The 100,” Tiffany Vogt of Seat 42F reported. Fans will have to wait and watch if Luna will help survive Apocalypse 2.0.

Clarke’s New Love Interest?

Update 2: With Lexa gone, naturally everybody has a question as who will be Clarke’s next love interest. Although many fans have clamoured to bring Lexa back, it’s unlikely to happen. “She’s still nursing a broken heart, and lost her soulmate in Lexa,” Rothenberg told Hypable, “so she’s not really ready to jump into another relationship. But at the end of the day, she’s 18. She’s an 18-year-old child still, in many ways, and so she will move on, for sure.” Rothenberg adds, “And I can say, as the voice of Lexa – the person who created that character – that Lexa would want her to. Lexa would want Clarke to be happy again. As I think we all would want the people who we love to be able to – not forget us – but to move on and find happiness.” While Rothenberg hasn’t confirmed that any loves story takes place in The 100 Season 4, fans hope it does, soon.

With Lexa gone, Clarke will have a new love interest in The 100 season 4.

Most Twisted and Brutal Episode

Update 1: Executive producer Aaron Ginsburg took to Twitter to reveal that they are presently working on “the most twisted, brutal episode” of the show yet. He went on to say that he, “cannot wait to see this one come together.” Of course, he doesn’t reveal which episode he is talking about. Back in July showrunner, Jason Rothenberg revealed about season 4. He said: “The Earth strikes back in season 4. It’s an unbeatable foe. [The story] becomes not trying to stop it, because it’s not stoppable, it becomes how do we survive? There are not enough life boats. The Earth is the ark.”  “Some people are just done fighting and just want to party until the end of the world,” he added.

“It’s going to be really interesting to watch a group of people, humans, trying to survive again in a world that — this is an enemy that we can’t defeat,” Taylor said. “How do we move forward? In true Clarke fashion, that will be her trying to get everyone on board. There will be some very different reactions.”

Original Story

Zach McGowan too made a Twitter post saying he’s happy now that he can tell people about his return and his permanent place in The CW’s hit post-apocalyptic sci-fi drama.

The news of the return of King Roan came after the announcement that his other show, Starz’s Black Sail will be ending with the next season, i.e. Season 4. It’s a great relief to The 100 fans who were rooting for the character last season.  Roan appeared in the finale, being dragged off by the Grounders after being shot by Kane (Henry Ian Cusick) in Season 3.

Roan was a well-liked character who at the beginning of the season was an Ice nation fugitive tasked with finding Clarke (Eliza Taylor) back. As the series progresses, Roan and Clarke struck an alliance, and he helped her to negotiate a truce between Arkadia and the Ice Nation. We saw Roan last being shot and taken away which led many fans to believe that he was dead and McGowan will not appear in The 100 season 4. But the makers were so impressed by Roan’s character portrayal and his fan-followings, that they decided to make him a series regular.

The 100 Season 4 New Characters:

A new actor has been cast in season 4, Will E. McDonald as Wilson. Who is he? Is he Trikru or Skikru? Or maybe he’s among the glowing forest tribe who are rumoured to make an appearance this season. Two more new faces will reportedly join, and they are Alex Pangburn as Hayes and Jana Mitsoula as Willa. According to recent leaked news, all three characters will make an appearance together in episode 4 that suggests that they might belong to the same clan. Many fans are concerned if Nadia Hilker will return as Luna this season. For them, there’s good news. Hilker was spotted filming recently prompting speculations that season 4 will see more of the Boat People.

The 100 Season 4 Release Date:

The 100 Season 3 premiered on January 21, 2016, and drew some 1.881 million viewers. It received a mixed reception from the viewers but has been praised by critics. The CW has confirmed the renewal of The 100 Season 4 in 2017. The CW has confirmed the renewal of The 100 Season 4 in 2017.

Meanwhile The Season 3 revealed that the Earth will soon face another apocalypse. So Season 4 is likely to deal with trying to save people from destruction. At the Comic-Con in San Diego, The 100 showrunner Jason Rothenberg said, “The world is going to end… again! Season four is [when] the Earth strikes back,” he explained. “We’ll see the environment beginning to collapse and crazy s— will start happening. So it’s about how the characters are going to survive this, not whether they can stop it,” he added.
