Tata Motors Receives 5000 Orders For Buses From STU

In a recent manufacturing process, automobile giants Tata Motors received almost 5000 orders for Buses from the State/City Transport Undertaking all over the nation. The respective company manufactures the largest number of commercial vehicles in the domestic as well as international level.

The order placed is being called as a massive placement which would eventually help the firm to generate almost 80% more revenue in comparison to the previous year, where the total income closed to a lesser amount thus moving ahead with a minimal loss. STU have placed the orders nearly after a gap of 4 long years from Tata which definitely shows a focus towards public transport by the State government.

Tata Motors, India’s auto major stated that the orders taken would help in further partnering with various others State level transport units thus delivering world-class solutions to the public with all premium amenities thus maintaining a sustainable mass public transportation system. The low-cost operation, a fleet of modernization along with expanding base and ridership.

As of now, the 5000 buses which Tata Motors will manufacture would have better safety and features thus possessing fully IT-based enabling to ride over GPS systems. Also, it will have Intelligent Transport System, public information system, electronic destination boards, CCTVs, onboard diagnostic system, multi-mode ticketing, onboard wi–fi, and much more. Apart from basic features, accordingly Tata buses will have HVAC unit, lower NVH levels, automatic transmission, wider passageways, wider doors, broader window panes, air suspension for improved movement.

The production for 5000 buses from Tata Motors will start by the end of 2016-17, which will help to strengthen the company’s commercial vehicle transportation unit. Out of 5000, 1,500 ordered buses will be built at Tata Marcopolo, JV facility centre as well as ACGL, Goa.

However, Tata Motors have decided to develop future-orientedhybrid cars and buses which would run on electricity hence to meet the need of future transportation demand mostly for the smart cities.
