SRK’s character in ‘Raaes’ is Revealed by Director RahulDholakia

Director RahulDholakia is going gaga over the King Khan of Bollywood with whom he is teaming up for the first time. The director of ‘Raaes’ is all set to release his movie on 26 January 2017 and he has said in an interview that his promotional team is working hard, as it will start promoting Raaes very soon. Raaes is a story of a businessman who does illegal dealing but with dignity. The movie is set in the background of 1980s Gujarat. Shah Rukh Khan the protagonist and will be seen in a gray shade which is going to be something very different SRK has tried in recent time. According to the director:

“There are a lot of grey shades to his (Shah Rukh’s) character. He is playing an interesting character. He has done a great job. He is brilliant in the film… people will be amazed to see him like this,”

SRK in Raees

RahulDholakia is a very sorted out director who knows very well what he wants to portray on the silver screen. His last release Lamhaa with Sanjay Dutt and Bipasha Basu; though did not do well at the box office but got all the appreciation a director needs. Parzania, the movie which took place during communal riots in Gujarat in 2002, Parzania won him the National Film Award for 2006.

This national award winning director has all the positive to say about King Khan. Rahul said Shah Rukh to be ‘very nice, sweet, humble and loving person’. His humbleness is the reason behind his sky-high popularity.

Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be part of Raaes. There was an issue regarding Mahira Khan who is a Pakistani star and according to Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), they will not be allowed in Bollywood after the Uri Terror Attack. but after a lot of speculation the ban is over on two condition of not allowing any Pakistani artist in future and with a contribution of 5 crore on Army fund.
