Bollywood actress Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor is in news for a long time regarding her Bollywood debut. News of her Bollywood journey came from various sorts but none of them finalized ever. She was told to make her entry in the sequel of Karan Johar’s Student of the Year. Then, came the news of her joining the South Indian industry and again of her rejecting a well known director. The list is endless. But now it seems she has ultimately made her mind to make a debut in Bollywood opposite none other than one of the most energetic actors of Bollywood, Varun Dhawan.
According to the reports Karan Johar has roped in Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi opposite Varun in Shiddat. The movie will go on the floors from mid-2017. Though there has not been any official confirmation on the entire casting of the movie but there is a possibility that the movie will be directed by Abhishek Varma.
Earlier it was told that Alia and Arjun Kapoor along with Varun will do the project. But Arjun backed out as he thought his role is of less potential than Varun’s and he does not want to take any risk in his career at this moment. Previously titled as Kalank, Shiddat will also reportedly have Madhuri Dixit Nene who will be playing the character of a mother of the female lead.
Karan Johar is well known in the Bollywood industry for launching new talents, whether its Alia, Varun or Siddharth or any other well known name of Bollywood. He has always been the god father of the star kids to make them the next big names of Bollywood. Now it’s Jhanvi Kapoor’s turn!
