Reliance Jio has taken the country by storm and will continue doing so at least until the 31st of December later this year. Jio’s 4G Services have recently found a hardware partner in the form of the Smartron tphone. By the way, USP of Smartron is that it is completely based in India and produces phones with the “Made in India” tagline.
Now paired up with the Reliance Jio 4G service, the device will offer services such as free voice calling, VoLTE calling, internet at LTE speeds and unlimited text messages along with no roaming costs.
Apart from the new smartphone hardware addition, Jio’s flagship apps such as the Jio TV, Jio Cinema are available for free usage till Dec.31 post which a premium fee would be charged for consumption of on-demand content.
Check out some of the in-house Jio apps which can prove to be a delight for you at least till the end of the year. They are viable for you, only if you have a Jio Simcard of course.
- Jio Drive- With utility almost similar to Google Drive, Jio Drive lets you store all your photos, movies, videos and music on a customised online storage platform.
- JioCinema: JioCinema function can be used as an internet streaming video on demand application.
- Jio TV: Available for download on the Google Play Store, JioTV allows you to watch Live TV channels and programmes of the past seven days on any device at any time.
- JioNewsPaper: This application, available for free on Google Play, offers more than 500 editions of Indian newspapers.
