Smartron t.phone:Following a month long anticipation, theIndian startup Smartron has finally launched its first smartphone in the country – the t.phone. Priced at Rs. 22,999, the device will be available from June on the company’s t.store. Interested buyers need to get themselves registered here. The smartphone weighs149 grams andfeatures a dual-tone metal body. It’s available inClassic Grey, Metallic Pink, Steel Blue, and Sunrise Orange color options.
When it comes to specifications, theSmartron t.phone works ondual-SIM (Micro-SIM + Nano-SIM card) and featuresa 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Super Amoled display that comes along with a 401ppi pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device will also sport the all newApical Assertive Display technology for improved sunlight legibility.
The handset will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and is going to be powered byan octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 SoC that comes coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. It bears a64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expandedup to 128GB via a microSD card. Additionally user can use anunlimited t.cloud online storage.
Speaking of camera, the device sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with an Isocell sensor and a dual-LED flash and a 4-megapixel front snapper that offers2-micron pixel size for better low-light performance. A powerful3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 support and a USB-Type C charger completes the packages. As for connectivity options t.phone supports 4G LTE in India.
