We already know that Shraddha Kapoor will be seen as Haseena Parkar in Apoorva Lakhia’s Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai. And today Lakhia himself took to his Twitter handle to announce that Shraddha’s brother Siddhanth Kapoor will be depicting Dawood Ibrahim in the biographical crime movie. The audiences are already excited to witness the siblings on celluloid for the first time and some of them might be more curious to watch Siddhanth’s performance as Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai would be his debut film.

In an interview with PTI, Shraddha spoke about how she feels to work with her brother on the same project as the actress stated: “I am very excited and nervous because I’ve been thinking if I have to do a scene with him, I’ve to forget that he is my bhaiya.” Shraddha further stated, “He is the character in the film who is also my brother. But ultimately I think it’ll help that we are brothers and sisters. I hope that bond translates on screen.”
Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai will largely focus on the lifestyle led by Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar and also stars Ankur Bhatia in a pivotal role. However, the biographical crime film will be open in the multiplexes on July 14, 2017.
Shraddha was last seen in Shaad Ali’s Ok Jaanu alongside Aditya Roy Kapur which did not turn out to be a box office hit and neither did the movie gain positive critical responses. Therefore, Shraddha has to give a power-packed performance in her upcoming movies. The 30-old-year actress will also be seen in Mohit Suri’s Half Girlfriend and a recent picture of the actress sporting a badass basketball player look in the film has become the present talk of the town.
Director Mohit Suri himself has stated that Shraddha has gone through a great training session in order to look like a professional basketball player in the movie. Therefore, we hope that Shraddha leaves the moviegoers in awe this time with her acting prowess.
