Sherlock Season 4 Episode 3: Probably one of the most awaited TV series this year, BBC’s Sherlock starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman is already waist deep into its fourth season and the Season 4 Episode 2 titled ‘The Dying Detective’ left the fans on perhaps the biggest cliffhanger of the series so far. When Season 3 of Sherlock ended two years back, fans had made numerous speculations revolving around the possible return of Jim Moriarty but it seems like the showrunners have decided to take the show on a completely different course. The three-episode fourth season is slated to come to an end on January 15 with Sherlock Season 4 Episode 3 titled ‘The Final Problem’.
Coincidentally, the episode shares its name with the same short story where Sherlock Holmes author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle decided to kill off the legendary private detective and the fact that the fourth season would end on such a note is something which is literally driving Sherlock fans crazy. Sherlock Season 4 came with quite a number of twists with the first episode itself with the character of Mary Watson being killed off in an attempt to save Sherlock. But the biggest surprise came at the end of the second episode which revealed that Sherrinford Holmes, who was pegged to be Sherlock’s second brother actually turned out to be his sister in an undisclosed attempt to sabotage the highly functioning sociopath. Using an array of disguises, Eurus Holmes had snuck her way into the lives of Sherlock and John Watson as John’s therapist, a flirty bus passenger, and the daughter of a serial killer. Now that Eurus has been revealed, pointing a gun at John’s head before pulling the trigger at the episode two end credits, waiting for the third episode has resulted in an almost cringing feeling among fans.

Also, Sian Brooke will feature as a main cast member as Eurus Holmes for the final episode.
