After the apparent cold war between the two superstars of B-Town, the fans of the duo eagerly waited to see them onscreen yet again working their “Karan-Arjun’ magic. Even though the duo tried their best to keep it cool, the media took an active part in blowing the issue into proportions. With the latest news pouring in, Shah Rukh Khan has agreed to play a cameo in Kabir Khans film Tubelight starring Salman Khan. The film Tubelight is scheduled to be released in 2017 Eid, and this will be an Eidi for the fans who look forward to seeing the pair onscreen yet again.

According to sources, this role was previously offered to Shatrughan Sinha, but due to some issues, he declined the offer. However, when the director of the film Tubelight Kabir Khan took the script to Shah Rukh Khan, he accepted it immediately. The duo appeared in Big Boss 9, where they were seen indulging in a friendly banter and this was quite evident that the pair had ‘patched up’ after the entire cold war that was brewing between them. The media went crazy with this showcase of friendship between the duo and the social network was pouring with memes including Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Kahn patch up.

The pair was last seen in 2007 Shah Rukh Khan‘s hit  film Om Shanti Om, where Salman khan made a guest appearance in the song Deewangi Deewangi along with stars like Kajol, Rani Mukherji, Priyanka Chopra, Sanjay Dutt, Tabu and many others. Even though nothing has been finalised and not much information is provided to us about the duo’s appearance in the movie Tubelight, this will be a great surprise for the fans to see them onscreen after a considerable timespan.
