Senior INC leader Gurudas Kamat recently took a step forward to submit a resignation from the party but soon withheld resignation due to favourable reasons here on Wednesday, June 23, 2016, in New Delhi.
Indian National Congress (INC) is going through hard times as most of its noted leaders opted out of the party. In fact, Congress Supremo rests assured that any further resignation wouldn’t entertain and also, went on signing the petition on bond papers as they won’t resign from the party in near future. The members of Congress, who signed the petition, were given a token money of Rs. 1 crore respectively.
The recent decision from Gurudas Kamat, who has been serving the party for quite a few years, withheld its decision thus withdrawing resignation. He stated that there would be none better platform to help people than politics. To serve and contribute in making India a better place to prosper would be the ultimate aim.
According to Gurudas Kamat,During the last fortnight, a large number of senior Party leaders tried to convince me to rethink on the decision.Meeting with Party president Sonia Gandhi helped me make up my mind that Congress is the best platform to serve people. Will continue to serve under the leadership of Sonia and Rahul Gandhi. Will meet the people of my in-charge states, starting tomorrow.
One of the party’s insider unveiled that the respective senior leader felt offended over the work method of Mumbai Congress Chief Sanjay Nirupam as well as Party Incharge Mohan Prakash. He was continually unhappy with the way some issues were solved thus proving it rather mishandled. The 5 times MP from Mumbai North East was under a lot of speculations thus procuring unfulfilled tasks in an unmanageable way.
At present, senior Congress leader Gurudas Kamat has withheld his resignation and will come in talking terms with Sonia and Rahul moving on further to hold a conversation with in-charge state members, by tomorrow.
