Samsung and Reliance Jio have partnered have partnered together. Samsung (select) users can now avail the Jio Preview Offer. This offer was previously only available with the purchase of Reliance Retail’s Lyf smartphone, but the company has now decided to expand. The move has marked Reliance Jio for the first time tying up with another mobile manufacturer for the preview.

Under Reliance Jio Preview Offer, only a select Samsung smartphones will receive three months of unlimited data, HD voice and video calling, and SMS messages on a Jio SIM (apart from access to Jio applications). The offer is available not only for new Samsung users but the existing ones too. Here are, the list of smartphones eligible for the offer. All these devices are 4G-enabled with support for the FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz).

If you use any of the above handsets and would like to avail the offer, first off download and install the MyJio app. The app will show you an option to Getting Jio SIM. When you tap on the option, a coupon will be generated with a barcode and Jio Offer code that mentions a period of validity. The coupon cannot be transferred and can only be generated on the device where the application was made. Then you’ll be asked to provide proof of address and proof of identity that needs to be submitted as verification documents.

Now the users will have to visit their nearest Reliance Digital Store to submit their documentation and pick up the free Reliance Jio SIM card. After their hands on the SIM card, you’ll need to insert it into your handset and then follow up with a final step by calling 1977. Finally, you’ll have to open the MyJio app once again and avail the Jio Preview Offer. After the offer period ends, users will be asked if they want to continue with Reliance Jio’s commercial tariff plan.
