Samsung Galaxy Tab S3: New Leaks
The launch and subsequent release of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 are looming on the horizon, and new leaks are already surfacing. Interestingly, the latest leaks that have flocked the internet actually confirm the imminence of the upcoming device’s release. According to reports, The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has apparently passed through the FCC, a certification procedure that every smartphone or tablet that is sold in the US has to go through. But the process usually occurs when a device gets close to its launch date, which points to the fact that the Tab S3 is due for release any time over the coming few weeks.
The leak provides a number of informational details about the new Galaxy Tab S3, which confirm mainly connectivity features like 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, and support across a range of Wi-Fi bands. In terms of the upcoming tablet’s key specifications, information is mostly based on speculation. Samsung noted that the device will be equipped with a better processor as well as “an operating system that allows interactivity with elements that require good performance on a mobile device.”

According to notable sources, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. While the Tab S3 may be similar to the Tab S2 in some aspects, the new tablet is expected to come loaded with new features that Samsung is yet to disclose. However, several speculations have surfaced after the 8-inch version of the Tab S3 was spotted as listed on TENAA, which is the Chinese equivalent to the FCC. According to these, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 8.0 will reportedly have a display resolution of 2048 x 1536p. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 502 processor paired with 3 GB RAM, and house 32 GB of internal storage space that will be expandable via microSD. Possibilities of a 64 GB variant of the Tab S3 are also being rumoured. The Tab S3 will apparently feature an 8-megapixel front camera along with a 2-megapixel front facing camera. The 8.0-inch variant may be powered by a 4,000 mAh battery, while the larger, 9.7-inch model of the Tab S3 might sport a 5,870mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Release Date
While Samsung has not confirmed any information about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, official release date, going by recent developments, the Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to land at Berlin’s IFA 2016 technology tradeshow. This coincides with the information recently posted on Samsung’s Colombian website, which said that the device was slated for a September release. We’re heavily banking on the new tablet to appear sometime during the first week of September itself.
