Samsung Galaxy On8:Samsung will soon launch the Samsung GalaxyOn8 in India, adding to its Galaxy On lines.The smartphone is expected to be launched during Flipkart’s Big Billion Day event. The device is expected to cost between Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000.
One of the most popular smartphone makers in the world, Samsung launched theGalaxy On5 2016 and Galaxy On7 2016 smartphones in China recently. Before that, back in July, the company launched the Galaxy On5 Pro and Galaxy On7 Pro smartphones in India.
As Flipkart gears up for its annual Big Billion day sale event, the company has set up a dedicated page on the event. On the page Flipkart, ‘Samsung Galaxy On8’ makes an appearancein the Special thanks to our partners section. This strongly suggests that the device is likely to be available for purchase at the sale event. Come to think of it Flipkart had recently teased a Galaxy On series phone with Super AMOLED display on Facebook.
To recall,Samsung Galaxy On7 smartphone had featured a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with 720 pixels by 1280 pixels resolution at a PPI of 267 pixels per inch. It’spowered by 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor and it comes with 1.5GB of RAM,8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. It sports 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies. On7 is backed by a 3000mAh removable battery.
According to rumours, the Samsung Galaxy On8 willfeature a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It’s worth noting that On8 will be thefirst smartphone in the Galaxy On series to sport a Super AMOLED display. The handset is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It’ll feature a 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded via a MicroSD card slot. Speaking of the camera, it’s likely to feature13-megapixels rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixels front camera.
