Samsung Galaxy On5 (2016) Spotted with 2GB RAM, Android Marshmallow

Samsung Galaxy On5 (2016) was recently found listed on Zauba, an Indian export-import website. The same device under the model name SM-G5700 was spotted on the GeekBench benchmarking website. It’s worth noting that before this the Samsung Galaxy On7 was also listed on Zauba and GFX Benchmark.

According to the GeekBench listing, the Samsung Galaxy On5 (2016) will be powered by an Exynos 7570 SoC 1.4 GHz quad-core processor and will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It features a 5-inch display, 2GB RAM and comes at a price of Rs 10,310.

Last year, Samsung Galaxy On5 featured a 5 inch HD touchscreen and ran on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. It’s powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor and sports 1.5 GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory and a 128 GB micro SD card slot. The phone supports dual SIM and comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture, a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture. It measures 142.3×72.1×8.5 mm and weighs 149 gm. As for connectivity, it offers Bluetooth 4.1, GPS with GLONASS and Beidou, WiFi (b/g/n) and WiFi Direct. A 2600 mAh battery completes the package.

The  Samsung Galaxy On5 (2016) is likely to be launch along with the Galaxy On7 (2016). The Galaxy On7 (2016) is rumoured to come with the following features: 4.8-inch full HD (1080p) AMOLED screen, 2GHz octa-core processor with Adreno 506 GPU and 3GB of RAM, Android Marshmallow out-of-the-box with 16GB of internal storage.
