Two independentsources have leaked pictures of the upcoming Galaxy Note 7 confirming our previous predictions about the Galaxy Note 7 design. If these rumours are to be believed then Note 7 is going to be even better than Samsung’s latest best – the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge smartphones.
Evan Blass (aka @evleaks), arguably the world’s most popular leakerhas tweeted with photos of thefinal marketing renders of the Galaxy Note 7. He has confirmed that the device will have a curved ‘Edge’ display like the Galaxy S7 Edge and will be available in three colours –Black Onyx, Blue Coral, Silver Titanium.
We are very excited to let you know, that if you take a closer look at the front camera, you’d notice a second lens for iris scanner.
Another very revealing photo comes from the case maker Olixar who has attained the Galaxy Note 7 final design. As with@evleaks, theOlixar cases too, show off both the Iris sensor andEdge display. Another key highlight of the Galaxy Note 7 case is theUSB Type-C port.
Up until now, Samsung has released its2016 flagship smartphones with micro USB. The decision had earned split opinions. But now, since the Galaxy Note 7 is getting USB Type-C, this will be the key differentiatingfactor between Note 7 andGalaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Although the Samsung Gear VR is presently limited to micro USB, since the Note 7 is getting a new USB Type-C, we think there’s a new Gear VR coming out soon.
Knowing Samsung, they’ll try to keep the Galaxy Note 7 price as competitive as possible. The phablet islikely going to cost you around $950. It’s not cheap since it falls in thehigh-end phablet category.
If rumours are to be believed, then the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will offer some very remarkable specifications. It will be the classiest phablet in the market. We’ll keep you updated on further developments and rumours. Stay tuned.
