Samsung has launched the all new Galaxy J2 (2016) smartphone as well as the Galaxy J Max tablet. The South Korean company has declaredthat the tablet will go on sale from the end of July both online and at retailstores. The smartphone will go on sale from July 14. Priced atRs. 13,400, the devices come with pre-loaded popular apps and servicesfrom its Galaxy J-series of smartphones. They’ll also featureUltra Data Saving (UDS) Mode that saves up to 50 percent of 4G data.
Additionally, Samsung is offering a one year bundle of free subscriptionto Vuclip and also a free Samsung Bluetoothheadset in-box. Vuclip is avideo on demand streaming service. And on top of all these, bothSamsung Galaxy J2 (2016), the Galaxy J Max comes with six months of double dataoffer for Airtel prepaid customers.
Speaking of the tablet, the Samsung Galaxy J Max features a7-inchWXGA TFT display with1280×800 pixels. It is powered by1.5GHz quad-core processor and comes clubbed with 1.5GB of RAM. It has16GB of built-in storage that can be expanded up to200GB via microSD card. The tab runs onAndroid 5.1 Lollipop and supports and 4G.
Galaxy J Max sportsan 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front camera. One of the biggest highlights of the tablet is it supports VoLTE (Voice over LTE). Connectivity options include,GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and Micro-USB. The tabmeasures 186.9×108.8×8.7mm and comes packed witha 4000mAh battery.
