Now the handset has been spotted on the GeekBench benchmarking website as model no model no Samsung SM-A810F. The Samsung Galaxy A8 2016 scored 1467 in single-core test and 5018 in multi-core test in the GeekBench listing. According to the data, we get from the GeekBench test; Samsung Galaxy A8 2016 will come with an Exynos 7420 chipset clocked at 1.5 GHz octa-core processor and coupled with 3GB RAM along with Mali T760 GPU. The smartphone will run on the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. On the camera aspect, the handset will flaunt a 16-megapixel rear camera accompanied with a LED flash and autofocus technology. A 5-megapixel front camera will also be included in the device for taking selfies and video chat. The GFXBench listing also indicates that the Samsung Galaxy A8 2016 will feature all the modern day connectivity options like WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth and NFC as well as sensor options such as an accelerometer, light sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. Samsung launched the Galaxy A8 smartphone in India last year. The dual-SIM enabled device is powered by an Exynos 5 Octa-Core (1.8GHz Quad Core + 1.3GHz Quad Core) processor & 2GB RAM and comes packed with 32GB internal storage which is further expandable up to 128GB via micro SD card. The 5.7-inch handset sports Super AMOLED display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution comes with 16-megapixel autofocus rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera.
